Environmental Policies and Measures
■ Energy saving and Carbon Reduction Measures:
一、In accordance with the Energy Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the company continues to promote energy-saving and carbon reduction measures to cope with the impact of environmental changes.
(一). Introducing office energy-saving equipment and high-efficiency energy-saving lighting equipment have been prioritized to save energy.
(二). For the sake of cherishing and loving its possessions, Resource Sharing Day is held to share unused items with those who need them while recycling shared resources instead of hoarding or discarding
them.
(三). Garbage sorting is implemented to promote recycling paper reuse, double-sided printed documents, reducing paper printing through electronic operations, purchasing green labeled photocopy paper, and regularly destroying expired documents in large quantities to minimize their negative environmental impact.
(四). Resource recycling is provided by an environmental protection service company to transport recyclables to the recycling plant for free so that resources are recycled to save energy and reduce the consumption of earth resources.
二、The following measures are being implemented in conjunction with energy saving and carbon reduction:
(一). Energy saving and carbon reduction projects for electrical equipment:
- Replacement of business machines with energy-saving models.
- Power-saving control of drinking fountains at night and on holidays.
- Shutdown of passenger elevators at night and on holidays.
- Control of indoor air-conditioning temperature at 24~26℃ and regular cleaning and maintenance of the cooling water tower and return air filters.
- Replacement of energy-saving frequency conversion air-conditioning equipment.
- Replacing traditional chilled water mainframe equipment with energy-efficient inverter-type mainframe equipment with energy efficiency level 1.
- Replacing traditional lighting equipment with energy-saving LED lighting equipment.
- Installing new elevators with power regeneration systems and frequency conversion.
(二).Energy saving and carbon reduction implementation projects for daily life:
- Promoting water conservation.
- Encouraging colleagues to take the stairs instead of the elevator.
- Using public transportation whenever possible.
- Promoting Vegetable Life Day.
- Two-stage water-saving toilet replacements.
- Advocating for the reduction of disposable tableware.
- Turning off lights and air-conditioners when not in use.
- Turning off computers and desktop appliances after work.
- Air-conditioned areas should be isolated from outside air. Windows and doors should be closed to avoid cold air leakage or the intrusion of hot air that increases air-conditioning load.

Although the total water consumption increased in 2023, the per capita water consumption remained steady at 11.2 tons.
■ Waste Management
Infinite Finance is not a manufacturing industry, so the waste generated in the operation process is primarily daily domestic waste. To reduce the environmental impact, the company implements garbage sorting and resource recycling in everyday life. It reduces the waste and reuse of resources through the following actions, with the mission of "zero waste, and full cycle."
Reduce use |
The electronic signature operation has been adopted to improve work efficiency and save paper use. |
Making the Best Use of Everything |
Employees are regularly encouraged to print documents on both sides to save paper. Waste classification and resource recovery are implemented to reduce general waste and the waste of resources. |
Recycling |
Many confidential documents are cleaned and destroyed regularly every year. The storage space can be re-planned and re-used, and the destroyed paper can be recycled for reuse.
A total of 266 boxes were recovered in 2020.
A total of 271 boxes were recovered in 2021.
A total of 398 boxes were recovered in 2022.
A total of 103 boxes were recovered in 2023.
The size of the recycled paper carton was (45cm*40cm*35cm). |
Infinite Finance entrusts its waste removal to a company approved by the government to clean its waste. Infinite Finance's organizational scale has continued to expand in recent years. The company's staff continues to increase, and the corresponding waste volume has increased simultaneously. The initial contract with the cleaning company was approximately 1.5 tons of monthly waste (approximately 65-70 kg daily). However, after the efforts of colleagues in implementing waste sorting and reducing the use of disposable tableware, the amount of waste has decreased. The amount of waste cleared has been reduced to 1.4 tons (the daily amount has been reduced to 60-65 kg) since 2020.
■ Carbon Reduction Targets
Given the increasing threat of climate change to the environment, human survival, and national security, Infinite Finance is committed to reducing carbon emissions. This is accomplished through multiple benefits, power savings, energy efficiency, and policy analysis to minimize the economic, environmental, and social impacts of carbon emissions.
■ Carbon Reduction Measures
1. Energy efficiency improvement:
Installation of efficient lighting LED fixtures.
2. Regular evaluation of power consumption improvement and equipment management:
Regular assessment and replacement of high-energy consumption and traditional electrical equipment with energy-efficient models.
3. Water resources management:
Installation of water-saving devices, such as two-stage flush toilets and low-flow faucets, to reduce water consumption.
4. Promotion of energy-saving behaviors:
Encouraging employees to adopt energy-saving behaviors through training and education, such as turning off equipment and lighting when not in use.
5. Waste management and resource recovery:
Implementing a waste reduction program to encourage employees to reduce waste generation.
6. Green traffic and transportation:
Establishing a recycling system for sorting and recycling resources such as paper, plastic, and glass.

According to statistics, Taiwan is a paradise for hand-shaken beverages. The Taiwanese population can consume 2.2 billion disposable beverage cups in one year. Infinite Finance has procured environmentally friendly beverage cups made of ECOZEN biocomposite material. ECOZEN is a renewable bioplastic with good biodegradability. These cups are given to employees to encourage sustainable practices that reduce the impact of plastic waste on the environment. In addition to providing environmentally friendly cups to employees, the company also provides these cups for VIP visitors. This is expected to create an environmentally friendly atmosphere and influence all partners so that more people will be encouraged to use environmentally friendly cups.

- Company Staff Polo Shirts and Caps
Infinite Finance uses 100% recycled polyester for our POLO shirts and caps. This helps reduce plastic waste accumulation, save energy and raw materials, and minimize the negative impact on the environment.
